Atlas Copco has launched the latest edition of its comprehensive Compressed Air Manual. The manual contains 136 pages of essential reading for businesses that need the latest information about compressed air technology. OIL FREE COMPRESSOR

For most cases, the FAITH is suitable for use in SIL3 applications

Atlas Copco Compressors’ has launched its latest air treatment development, the QDT Activated Carbon Tower filter, designed to deliver the best air quality available yet from an oil injected compressor. This advanced filter system uses activated carbon to adsorb oil vapour from downstream compressed air to achieve and exceed Class 1 air purity, according to the ISO 8573-1 standard.

With the UK car scrappage scheme deemed to be an unmitigated success, Atlas Copco Compressors has extended the idea into the compressed air arena so that it is not just car owners that benefit when the time comes for equipment replacement. The company has launched the Atlas Copco Compressors Scrappage Scheme, whereby any compressor that is five years old or more, regardless of model or manufacturer, could be worth up to £2,000 against the purchase of new Atlas Copco compressed air equipment.
